Say hello
I try to reply to everything, though it sometimes takes me a while. I genuinely enjoy hearing from readers — especially when they've tried something and disagree with me.
Product suggestions
If there's something you'd like me to test, I want to know. Reader suggestions regularly shape what goes on the shelf next. I can't promise I'll test everything — cost and availability are real constraints — but I read all suggestions and the most interesting ones tend to happen.
Corrections
If I've got something wrong, I want to know. I try to write carefully and check what I write, but mistakes happen. I'd rather be corrected than quietly wrong. I'll acknowledge and update if the correction is valid, always.
Your skin story
Readers sometimes write to share their own experience with a product I've reviewed — agreeing, disagreeing, adding context I didn't have. This is some of my favourite correspondence. It makes the diary feel less one-directional.
Collaborations
I'm selective. The test I apply is simple: would this improve the diary for readers in a way that's worth the trade-off? If yes, I'll consider it and say so clearly. If not, I'll say that too. Cold press releases go unread.
Response time
Usually within one to two weeks, though sometimes longer when life intervenes. I don't have a team — it's just me — so I appreciate patience. I do read everything, even when the reply takes a while to arrive.
